Careloop closes €2 million seed funding to recruit and train international care professionals
In response to the shortage of care workers in Germany, Careloop developed the first all-in-one digital solution for recruiting, training, and integrating international care workers. According to forecasts, there will be a shortage of up to 500,000 care workers in Germany by 2030, which will subsequently severely jeopardize the performance of the German healthcare system.
“We connect highly qualified international care workers from third countries with German employers in a sustainable way and thus contribute to solving one of society’s biggest problems,” says Alexander Lundberg, CEO and co-founder of Careloop.
The investments will be used for the further development of the tailor-made recruitment platform, strengthening the team and customer base, and opening up new recruitment markets for international nursing staff.
“Recruiting international nursing staff is a complex process. The further development of the recruitment platform will make our work much more efficient, as well as digitize and automate all process steps,” says Matti Fischer, CPO and co-founder of Careloop.
The joint Social Impact Fund by Redstone and EnjoyVenture was particularly focused on the areas of health and education. “Careloop has the potential to significantly improve the healthcare system. With its important work in health and education, Careloop fits perfectly into Redstone’s Social Impact investment strategy,” says Lucas Paul from Redstone.
